In 1974, the world-famous Goebel company in Germany, known for its Hummel figurines, produced a very limited number of prototype parian renditions of Rogers' "Coming to the Parson" and "Why Don't You Speak for Yourself, John?". While the exact number of prototypes made is not generally known, it is believed that as few as six of each were produced. Goebel never put the pieces into production. As a result, the prototypes today are considered quite rare. The pieces were approximately 12" tall.
