During the mid-1860s, about nine companies produced photographs of 24 different Rogers Groups. These photographs were intended to be framed or otherwise displayed. They were available in up to four sizes, depending on the manufacturer: carte-de-visite (2 ½" by 4"), cabinet (7" by 9"), medium (11" by 14") and imperial (18" by 22").
